MISSIONS

Jesus commands us to GO. Global missions is not an option. There are 5 ways to obey this “Great Commission.” If you have a desire to GO, it is because God has put it there. It is His way of calling you. It is up to you to answer His call. If you have no desire to travel to the nations, you still have a responsibility to obey the great commission. Maybe you are called to be a SENDER. Other ways you can obey Him are to PRAY, ENABLE and MOBILIZE. All five roles are needed for a successful trip.

Crosspoint Ministries plans to mobilize people to 2 different countries in 2023. Rest assured that we will handle every detail of your short-term mission trip. At that time, we will send you a mission trip application to fill out and submit back. We are excited about the possibility of serving with you in either Jamaica or Kenya this year.

CrossPoint equips people of all ages to obey the “Great Commandment” by sharing the love of Christ with all those we come in contact with all over the world. Short-term missions is an adventure that every Christian needs to experience.  We would count it an honor if you choose to “GO” with us!

SELAH Retreats

Do you feel stuck and unable to go forward in life? Do you feel like God is a million miles away? Has it been a while since you heard God’s voice? Have you struggled with the guilt of your past? Do you long to encounter His love? The Selah Retreat offers an opportunity to get away to pause and reflect and to spend quality time with God. This retreat is a time of refreshing and one way that you can discover areas of your heart that have not yet been healed from past abuse and trauma. The anointing of God will heal your broken heart and break every chain that binds you. (Isaiah 61) The retreat not only focuses on breaking chains and healing your heart from past pain but also we focus on discovering your gifts and even writing a mission statement for your future. This retreat can move you from a place of feeling stuck to a place where you will be launched into your destiny and purpose. 

The carefully crafted schedule will offer participants the opportunity to experience prophetic worship, intensive Biblical training, private counseling, inner healing and supernatural freedom with time set aside to pause and carefully reflect on your relationship with God. Ten Steps to Wholeness will be taught through several teaching sessions, and the Holy Spirit will do what only He can do to comfort you and reveal truth to you that will truly set you free!

COUNSELING

CrossPoint Ministries offers counseling and encouragement to those going through a difficult season in their life. God has used Chuck and Alison through the years to unveil the Word of God to help those who need answers to life's most difficult experiences such as rape, abortion, adultery, depression, suicide, anger management, addictions, inner healing and more. Their approach is Spirit-led based solely on the GRACE of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Every session will incorporate prayer and biblical principles mixed with the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinth. 12, Rom. 12). Psalm 1:1 tells us to not walk in the counsel of the ungodly which makes Christian counseling unique for the whole person including spiritual as well as emotional. The goal of ongoing, comprehensive counsel is to allow God to bring the person to a place of hope, healing, freedom and wholeness. Appointment times are limited solely to the times offered and will be issued on a first come-first serve basis.

Chuck and Alison Lusted have had extensive training on the Strategic Trauma and Abuse Recovery (STAR) trauma resolution therapy. Alison is also receiving her Masters degree in counseling. Both Alison and Chuck serve as counselors for CrossPoint Ministries and are raising up a counseling staff of trained professionals. They also offer counseling online that allows face to face counseling with people in other states and countries.
