Our History

It all started when..

Chuck and Alison Lusted founded Crosspoint Ministries. After eight years of partnering with another mission organization, Chuck and Alison relocated and branched off in 2008 to form their own 501-C3 ministry. CrossPoint Ministries' greatest desire is to point people to the cross of Jesus Christ for eternal life and abundant life. The cross offers grace, forgiveness and power. Chuck and Alison have a heart to partner with churches all over the USA to take mission teams all over the globe.

Chuck has been serving in the local Church for over 30 years. He has a pastor's heart to love and care for people. He is fun loving and has a great sense of humor, but he also has a genuine fatherly love for girls who have been abused or abandoned. God often uses him to foster healing in their broken heart. He is also very athletic. Chuck has earned the respect of many men due to the talent God has given him to play just about any sport. He is especially good at baseball and golf.

Chuck graduated from Georgia Southern University and played five years of minor league baseball for the San Francisco Giants organization. He worked in the financial industry for 25 years and now is offering private pitching and hitting instructions in the Atlanta area.

Alison has also served in the local Church for over 30 years. She was the worship pastor in her local church for over 10 years. She also has led the adult choir, produced and directed children's musicals, planned and executed banquets, special events and special services. Alison was on staff as executive assistant to the pastor for five years in Atlanta, Georgia and for three years in Statesboro, Georgia. Alison is a prayer warrior and is often found leading prayer teams prior to the service. She teaches Sunday School, Wednesday night services, and has even preaches on Sunday mornings.

Alison also served for eight years as the Vice President of a mission organization that took hundreds of people a year on mission trips. She created and executed the schedule for every trip. She helped start a year-round soup kitchen for the poorest of the poor in Peru as well as an abused women's shelter and a girl's orphanage. Alison has a desire to see the average Christian rise up to their fullest potential and walk in the destiny of God for their lives. Often in her messages, she will talk about intimacy with God being the catalyst to birth destiny. She has a gift from God to communicate His word in a way that is practical, powerful and life changing. Most importantly, Alison speaks the truth in love. She is a lover of God and that causes her to be a passionate lover of people!

Chuck and Alison have four awesome children who have all recevied Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. During 2011, their daughter, Alana, embarked on the journey of a lifetime and went on the mission field traveling to 11 countries in 11 months! You can view her adventure by going to www.racewithalana.com. Alana married Erick Galicia in 2012 and they have a beautiful daughter, Abigail Alison and a little boy named Elijah Ariel. The Lusted's oldest son, Chad is married to a beautiful Peruvian girl, Sheyla, and they have two beautiful girls named Gabriella Alison and Aubrey Ninfa. Chad graduated with honors from Georgia Tech and is currently working for one of the top three accounting firms in the world. The Lusted's middle son, CJ, played baseball at Georgia Southern University, Chipola College, and Lee University. He is married to a beautiful girl named Sarah Bell, and has a wonderful career with International Hotel Group. Chris, the Lusted's youngest son, played baseball at East Georgia College and Armstrong Atlantic University and now has a great career as an IT recruiter. Chris is also married to a beautiful girl named Devon and they have one son, Cooper Anthony.

In July 2008, Chuck and Alison moved to Statesboro, Georgia and took a six month sabbatical to rest and seek the Lord. During that time, God confirmed over and over again that He has raised up CrossPoint Ministries to continue to take people on short-term mission trips. They incorporated CrossPoint Ministries in 2008. Chuck and Alison now live in Peachtree Corners and continue to host Selah Retreats on a monthly basis.

God spoke..

to Alison in 2015 and made it clear that He not only called the ministry to WIN souls but help make them WHOLE.

This is when the Selah Retreats were birthed. At this retreat, 10 Steps to Wholeness is introduced through intensive Bible teaching and a well written manual. The retreat also offers and encounter with God through worship, private counseling and deliverance if needed. What an awesome joy to witness salvations, signs and wonders, and all consuming grace and love of God at work in His people for many years now. Their greatest joy is YOU. Their destiny is watching you rise up and walk in the destiny of God for your life. Many people have been set free to rise up to their potential under the leadership of Chuck and Alison.
